How did Tom Daley feel about competing in the London 2012 Olympics?

Tom was excited about competing in these Olympics and also sad because his Dad was not there to see him perform. His Dad was always with him at training and competitions up until he passed away in May 2011. He wanted to see his son win a medal in the London games. Tom won a Bronze medal in the 10 meter platform event.
