How did Kane get Rey mysterio mask?

This has to go back to the New Orleans show in July. Rey Mysterio defeated Santino, and at the end of the night's show Kane was screaming "Is he alive or dead?". If he was talking about Rey Mysterio, then something must have happened after Rey's match and before Kane's. Maybe Kane threw Rey into the Mississippi River?

Rey must have known that he wasn't ready to come back full time, but after being drafted to Raw it would have been a bad move to not have him come back for at least one show right after the draft. So, I think the guys at WWE decided to make a story line to explain his disappearance from Raw. They quickly thought of a reason that has to do with his mask, and then put a twist to it involving another wrestler that was known to wear a mask...which was Kane. This whole "What's in Kane's bag?" storyline was just to buy Mysterio some time. He'll come back, battle Kane for whatever it is that Kane did to him, and life in the WWE will be back to normal.
