Lots of practice
I'd say yes, you'd have to have a backhand spring atleast. A back tuck would obviously give you more points to get you on the squad. It would depend on how good your tumbling is if you don't do a back tuck or backhand spring. Let's say you do a backwalkover. If it is really well and you do it 3 times in a row, then that could bump up your points to get on. Hope this helped!
Everything in gymnastics requires your both of your hands, to an extent. If you were to lose one of there hands, however, you would still be able to preform gymnastics. On floor you can do one-handed backhand springs and front handsprings. On highbar you can do one-handed swings and giants. You could not efficiently preform rings, parallel bars, or pommel horse however. Vaulting would be a challenge too, but you could overcome it! Good luck!! Sources: I am a gymnastics coach and have been doing it for 6 years now.
Shawn Johnson and Nastia Luikin are epecially good at gymnastics.

YES, they are comfortable and suitable for gymnastics. As long as they feel good, wear them!! Good luck (if you're starting gymnastics!) x
It depens. anyone can be good at gymanastics. a human being is only good at gymnastics if they train and are skillfull at it. if a man doesn't train within the boundaries of gymnastics he will therefore not be good. if anyone doesnt not train at something they will not be good unless its a natural talent to them.
