WHAT THEY DO: Linemen in volleyball are people that has a red flag and they determind if the ball is in the court or out!! Also they judge if you crossed the line when you sereve the ball!! THINGS ABOUT LINEMEN: There are only two linemen one stands on one side of the court and the other stands on the opisite side!!!With a red flag!!!
on one team 6 people play on a volleyball court but all together 12 people play on a volleyball court
It is 30 feet by 60, or one side is 30 by 30. Hope that helps.
Usually 6, maybe more/less.
As this goes without saying, the main difference between beach volleyball and indoor volleyball are the locations in which the games are played; beach volleyball being played on a beach court, and indoor volleyball being played on an indoor court. While indoor volleyball requires 6 athletes with fixed positions from each team on the court at one time, beach volleyball only requires 2, in most instances of competitive play. Other differences occur in areas such as the court. For example, a regulation indoor court is 30 feet by 30 feet on each side, while a beach court is 26.3 by 26.3 on each side. Also, a beach court lacks an attack line, or a ten foot line. Hope this helps!
The volleyball court length and width is 18 meters (60 feet) long and 9 meters (30 feet) wide. The volleyball court has a center line that divides each teams side into a 9 by 9 meter area of court space. The volleyball net is one meter wide and is placed in the center of the court running sideline to sideline. For men's volleyball competition, the height of the net measures 2.43 meters (about 7 feet, 11 5/8 inches) from the court ground at the center. For women's volleyball competition, the net is placed at the height of 2.24 meters (about 7 feet, 4 ¼ inches).
The one big difference is that one is played inside and on court and is played outside on sand. Another difference is that you have 2 people playing rather than 6 on a regular game of volleyball inside!! And that's the difference between beach volleyball and indoor volleyball. There can be anywhere from 9 to 15 people on a volleyball team. It really depends. There are only 6 that play on the court at one time though.
