Waves in Tahiti-Teahupoo are very thick and powerful because of two main factors, which is reef and dept of water. Waves formed at Teahupoo come from deep water and enters shallow water very dramatically. The wave is traveling through deep waters from where it started and suddenly hits very shallow reef causing the wave to instantly break. Unlike most breaks where waves hit a shelf of reef and slowly begin to break, Teahupoo almost breaks the instant it hits the reef. When this occurs all that water and force fallowing the wave basically folds over and break too soon and it causes the wave to be massive in thickness and size. This is why Teahupoo gets very heavy, it's because of the amount of water that builds up right as the wave breaks.
jupiter and venus are the planets that are heavy and thick that would crush a human.
This would be Venus.
Tidal waves are caused by cyclones. Cyclones are high waves accompanied with heavy rain, and they lead to floods. So cyclones cause tidal waves, that is where they come from.
"Storms so heavy they were tidal waves come over the islands"
Because they are made of lead plates surrounded by thick plastic and filled with acid.
Yes, it is. Usually the antonym of thin, it means comparatively or relatively heavy, dense, cohesive, or deep. (It may also be an adverb with similar meaning.) Examples: thick fog, thick soup, thick ice, thick accent, as thick as thieves.
mercury's atmosphere is thin so sound waves don't travel very well and there is little oxygen.
jupiter and venus are the planets that are heavy and thick that would crush a human.
Waves from a storm can travel travel hundreds of miles. So if you are getting waves during fair weather there is most likely a storm at sea some distance away.
Venus has a very thick atmosphere of Carbon dioxide. Its average surface pressure is a crushing 93 bar, or 93 times that of Earths.
IR rays are just electromagnetic rays so the properties of infrared rays resemble to those of EM waves which can be easily blocked by thick materials. Lead is commonly used to block them.
Neptune has an atmosphere filled with 19% of helium, 80% of hydrogen, and a trace amount for methane. So ........ it is very thick!
