There are two ways this will heal: It'll either slip back into the fascia on its own, at which time you'll need to take some time off to let it heal, as the risk of recurrance is very high at first, or this can be handled surgically. It's a very minor process. I'd look for a really good Sports Medicine clinical myself. For the at-home side, cold-packs to bring the swelling down; hotpacks the next week to increase circulation. From the way you describe it, the lump under your nipple sounds like part of the hernia, but there's no way to be 100% certain without looking. This is a question for your doc. Again, bear in mind, this injury often hsa a good prognosis.

What is a herniated disc and what causes this problem?

A herniated disc means that a part of the jelly center of the disc "gets out" of the disc into the spinal canal, and causes pressure on the nerves. What causes it? There a few opinions about that, the one that seems most logical to me (except the known and obvious reason of just "the aging of the discs") is something called "muscle imbalances", which cause extra pressure on the disc causing it to rupture. The link I added explains it and what to do about it better than me so check it out.

Do Your Symptoms Indicate a Herniated Disc?

Could your pain be caused by a herniated disc? It may be hard to tell since symptoms may vary widely depending on the position and size of the herniation. Herniated discs may cause any of the symptoms listed below, but it's best to consult your physician for a more informed diagnosis. What Symptoms Are Typical of a Herniated Disc?If the herniated disc does not touch any nerves, then you may have a persistent ache or even no symptoms at all.If the herniated disc presses on a nerve, then you may experience nerve-related symptoms in the part of your body which is supplied by that nerve. For instance, a herniation in the lower back can cause low back pain and/or sciatica, pain which travels down the leg to the ankle or foot. Hernation in the middle of the back may result in pain in the front of the thigh, and herniation in the neck can create pain, weakness, or numbness in the chest, shoulders, or arms. What Are Nerve-Related Symptoms? When caused by a herniated disc, typical nerve-related symptoms include:Numbness or tingling ("pins-and-needles" sensation)Muscle weakness, resulting in stumbling, falling, or difficulty in lifting or holding objectsPain, which may "shoot" through the arm or leg when you sneeze, cough, or move into certain positions and which may be relieved by other positions which relax the spineLoss of bladder and/or bowel controlCan a Herniated Disc Cause Muscular Symptoms?Yes, other symptoms may include deep muscle pain or muscle spasms. The pain can range from a general ache to a deep, severe pain. When Should I See a Doctor?Consult your physician as soon as you can if:You have neck or back pain which seems to move down your arm or legYou have neck or back pain accompanied by tingling, numbness, or weaknessGo to the emergency room immediately if:You have weakness in both legs and have lost control of your bladder and/or bowels

My right nipple hurts and seems inflamed?

Your best course of action would be to discuss this with your doctor. It could be something simple and temporary or the signal of something more serious.

Why is palmaris longus muscle absent in some people?

The Palmaris Longus muscle is found in the forearm of most mammals to include humans. However, the muscle may also be known to be absent in some people and this seems to be related to ethnicity; about 14% of the world's population do not have this muscle.

Can you get an innie nipple pierced?

An inverted or occluded nipple piercing needs to be done by an experienced professional body piercer who knows how to properly do an inverted nipple piercing. The technique is some what different from a standard nipple piercing, skill and knowledge needs to be used in order to correct the inversion. I have done many of these "repair" piercings with the end result being a proper outward displaying nipple. The inversion is partly due to the beast connective tissue and how the ducts and nipple connective tissue seems to be too short thus causing the nipple to be inverted. So find your self a body piercer who has at least 5 years of better of actual piercing experience or be prepared to travel to have it done correctly. Knowledge of human anatomy is a must to complete this piercing properly, but trust me once it's done right and healed you will be very pleased.

What muscle has slow prolonged contractions?

Seems this best describes the smooth muscle tissue of the alimentary canal (intestines). This is a rather unhurried way to move the food (bolus) through the body to allow nutrients to be absorbed.

What substance in muscle seems able to store oxygen temporarily?

Myoglobin is synthesized in cells and imparts the reddish-brown color of skeletal muscle tissue. Like hemoglobin, myoglobin can combine loosely with oxygen. This ability to temporarily store oxygen reduces a muscle's requirement for a continuous blood supply during muscular contraction.
