∙ 13y agoYes, Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees hit his 3,000 ball on July 9, 2011. He is the 28th player in the history of baseball to accomplish the feat. He is also the only Yankee to have accomplished it, and the second player ever to do it with a home run.
Most ball parks have sculptures outside the stadium.
