The 1972 Miami Dolphins, regular season record: 14-0-0

Playoff Record: 3-0

Beat the Washington Redskins 14-7 in the Super Bowl to finish 17-0-0 including playoffs.

They are the only team to finish with a perfect season. The 2007 New England Patriots came close posting a 16-0-0 Regular season record and winning 2 of 3 playoff games bust lost in the super bowl 14-17 to the New York Giants finishing at 18-1.
