That was Sammy Sosa of the Chicago Cubs who hit 66 home runs in 1998 and 63 home runs in 1999. He also hit 50 home runs in 2000 to do it three straight seasons.

my guess: Manny Ramirez - 9 That's correct, Manny had 9 consecutive seasons of 100 RBIs/30 HRs from '98-'06. Currently, though, Albert Pujols has 8 consecutive seasons with 100 RBIs/30 HRs starting his rookie year (which is a record in itself for a streak starting in the rookie season, I think) '01-'08. After hitting 2 homeruns today, Alex Rodriguez now has 12 consecutive years of 100 RBIs/30HRs. The question did not state from the beginning of one's career.
Derek Jeter has had seven 200 hit seasons during his career. Three seasons in a row was his longest consecutive streak, he's done that twice.1998, 1999, 20002005, 2006, 20072009

Yes. The Cowboys were the first and only National Football League team to post 20 consecutive winning seasons. From 1966 to 1985, they played better than .500 football and missed the playoffs only twice (in 1974 and 1984).
Should Illinois defeat Michigan on November 6, 2010 it would be the first time they have defeated Michigan in three consecutive seasons since 1950, 1951, 1952, and 1953.
