Well.. I am actually doing a science project on that right now and I think it is equal because you have to come down from the jump by gravity and you have to have strength in your legs to lift your legs high. And to all you people who think Cheerleading isn't a sport try doing what we do.
Not all cheerleaders wear pleated skirts. Some like the look when the girls dance, and the movement you get.
Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Making the Team - 2006 Jump Split 7-3 was released on: USA: 21 September 2012
cheerleaders are the coolest people in the world.
an example of gravity is sky diving. the gravity is pulling down the the ground after you jump out of the plane.
A pike jump is where cheerleaders will jump off the ground and their legs are out in front of them with straight legs and pointed toed. Their heads face downward and their arms are straight out in front of them and parallel to each other.
Without gravity, you could jump all right... but you wouldn't fall back down. For example, if you jump on a small asteroid (with hardly any gravity), you would propel yourself into space and wouldn't come back.
because there is no gravity
you would be able to jump on the moon. the moon's gravity is 1/6 of earths gravity so there is a bit of gravit but not alot so you will be able to jump abit
Yes, but not with any noticeable difference. The reason behind this is that gravity pulls the center of each object together. The farther away the centers are, the less effect gravity has on the objects. The closer the centers are, the greater the gravity.
gravity
It's simple Gravity you see...When you jump on earth the gravity pulls you down however if you jump on the moon there is no gravity meaning you'll just float off and eventually land.
Acceleration does not effect gravity. It is rather the other way round. Gravity can affect the rate of acceleration.
