Best Answer

In High School, the Diving season is divided into 2 parts: boys and girls. The girls diving (which also includes girls swimming) starts in early August and goes through October (or possibly longer depending on how well they do at Sections, State, etc.): the season is usually wrapped up by the first or second week in December. The Boys diving (and swimming) season starts in the last weeks of November and usually goes through February (or possibly longer depending on how well they do at Sections, State, etc.)

In conclusion:

Girls diving/swimming=fall sport

Boys diving/swimming=winter sport
