Batting gloves don't help you hit the ball further. However they do increase the amount of grip you have on the bat and (for aluminum bats only) they reduce the sting if you hit a very fast pitch.
Generally, yes - or at lest to a greater extent than it does in Baseball. Physically, the harder you hit the ball (mostly speed of the bat) the farther it will travel. In softball, the speed of the incoming ball really doesn't vary all that much between fast pich and slow pitch. In baseball, the speed of the incoming ball - if it's a fast ball especially - has a great bearing on how far the ball will travel. So if the bat speed is good in either sport, in softball the hit will travel farther. In baseball, with the right pitch, the hit will travel much farther.
Batting gloves, mainly used in baseball, have a leather palm and a back made of a synthetic material such as nylon. These gloves are special as they help increase the player's grip of their bat more so than other types of gloves.
to help bend with the impact of the bat to rebound the ball farther
better gripskill players(wide receiver, runningback, quarterback)wear them so that they can have a better grip on the ball. Linemen usually wear them for the padding, that way they can strike their opponents pads quicker because they don't worry about as much impact on their hands.
It depends what type of league. Yes, it seems to help for some people. Like me I play travel ball. I use baseball gloves, but i can't see why you can't use football gloves. It may help you and it may not. It depends how YOU like it! :)
No it will make you're ball go farther down the lane before it breaks towards the pins.

a rubber ball will most likely go further......depends on the mass of the ball!

To help them better see the ball from the pitcher
The gloves were first developed to help hold onto the ball. It could easily get slipper when sweating or in the rain.
get gloves with bumps on the palm. even though I am a girl I play football and im in 9th grade. I use these gloves form Dicks sporting goods, with the bumps on the palm and they work amazing
Im guessing you meant point. A batting glove can help the player grip the bat better and also supposedly help reduce the vibrate of the bat when you hit the ball
