cut off the old grips with a box cutter knife. when you put on the new ones make sure the grips are on the right side. the throttle one is bigger cause of the throttle. then before putting them on spray the inside of the grip with hair spray or a grip glue from a dealership. they work the same but what they do is lube the handlebars to slip in then when they dry they turn sticky so the grip wont move
if you cant replace them then you can use white tape its not the same but is a lot better then no grips at all
