The best way to connect a small propane tank to a device using a small propane tank adapter is to ensure that both the tank and the device are compatible with the adapter, securely attach the adapter to the tank, and then connect the device to the adapter following the manufacturer's instructions. It is important to check for any leaks before using the device.
To fit an HPA air tank on your Tippmann FT-12, you'll need a compatible remote line or an adapter that connects the tank to the gun's air inlet. First, ensure the tank has a standard output pressure regulator. Then, securely attach the remote line or adapter to the air inlet of the FT-12, ensuring all connections are tight and leak-free. Finally, check that the tank is properly filled and test the setup for functionality before gameplay.

if the tank has been converted to a quick connect tank then the adapter should simply unscrew from the female threat of the cylinder..(the threads are left hand threads.. this means that they are reverse so you will want to twist the the right to loosen it) if the tank is a factory quick connect the only way to switch it to a twist on would be to have licensed professionals switch the valve which is not worth the money
