Well it relly depends on what ground you play on if it is grass they might wear blunt spikes ( which are like on soccer or football boots) or clay they might wear extra tred shoes or dirt which they would wear treds. i play Baseball and i have 12 different types of shoes just because it all depends on what surface you play on.
Cletes
"Crampons"...they strap to bottom of hiking or climbing boots. They have steel spikes to grip the ice.
Can you change the metal spikes to plastic ones on puma soccer boots
I believe the spikes on the bottom of soccer cleats are known as cleats!
old because they did not have any spikes
If you are referring to ice-walking equipment then they are "crampons". Otherwise there are no metal spikes on hiking boots.
Depends what surface you're playing on. They can be called cleats, or boots, or spikes.
increase friction
The thing about Football boots, is that they have spikes on the bottom. For the most part, they are designed to keep a player's traction on the ground. This may be a problem during Soccer because of all the running around that is required. In other words, you can. But the results may or may not be good.
If you can find a cliff with spikes at the bottom of it, the answer is probably once.

The grooves on the soles of shoes and boots are known as the treads. Running shoes may have spikes for grip on grass running tracks. Football boots have studs, also for grip on an often slippery, grass football pitch.
