No, they do not to be sharpened. They're not really skates. The kids just use them to get used to standing on the ice, and to walk in them on the ice.
u speaking of skates? 6 ,months
Skates right out of the box are not sharpened. Most likely the shop that you are purchasing them from will sharpen the skates before you leave the store. If you purchased the skates online you will need to take then to your local shop and have them sharpened. But make sure that the skates fit properly and you are not going to ship them back. Once you sharpen the skates most online retailers consider the skates now used and will not accept them for return. If you need to get them sharpened, don't worry it generally costs only a few dollars ($3-5). You will also need to maintain the skates and have them sharpened after every few skates. This is a personal preference when to sharpen your skates.
The speed skates have longer blades
A 248 size t-Blade replacement runner should fit a boot size of 4.5 to 5.
yes unless you got them sharpened a specific way
Yes, they can. After Ice Skating, if the blade is not cleaned with tissues/ a towel etc. The blades can go rusty, which is very dangerous and so they must then be replaced if they do go rusty. If you your skates do get rusty, you can have them sharpened which will remove the layer of rust, however I suggest NOT to leave your skates to rust as the rust may progress to areas of the blade that aren't normally sharpened.
No its not
Yes they do, i belive it costs £40 for inline/hockey skates and £60 for figure skates
Roller blades are much faster and better. The roller skates are not as flexible as roller blades are. It's much safer to wear roller blades than roller skates and roller skates are likely to trip you up than roller blades. Also roller blades have more control than roller skates.
Guildford Spectrum does it :) about £7 for the pair I think.
The blades on hockey skates are only as sharp as the wearer has honed them. Professional ice skates (hockey skates included) are very sharp and are honed after every session. If there is contact, the blades can cut flesh. Guards are put on the blades immediately after coming off the ice. Blades that are dull are not as fast on the ice. Being cut with the blade of a hockey skate is not a primary concern of athletes.
hockey skates are skates that u use in hockey. they are different that figure skates because there is no pick, the blades are slightly curved, and they connect to the skate in the front and the back.
