If you mean the same breed, not always.
If your racing and betting on each others horses its called Racing for Pinks!
Well yes and no. Anything to do with horses can be considered Equestrianism, but many people consider racing different from 'regular' horse sports.
Same reasons people watch baseball, football (both kinds), car racing golf.... Because horses are beautiful animals.
Like people, horses have many different personalities. This does not always depend on what breed it is. People are always saying how big, draft horses are gentle, yet they can be fiery. Same goes with Quarter horses! :)
Well illegal horse racing is when an owner buys a number of horses that look the same such as two or three slow bay horses that are around the same height and have similar markings to one fast bay. Then they'll claim all the horses to be just the one, the fast one. Next they'll race the slow horses to bring the odds down. Then race the fast one to make fat cash. After that is when they sell the horses claiming not to know anything about the horses racing career which would be the illegal information. Once the horse is sold it's not they're problem but they even go to the extremity to blur the tattoo under the horses lip so that you can't read what it was.
There are certain seasons when races happen, but no one should think of it as a barrel racing season because you still need to take care of your horses the same and train.
The Romans use horses for riding and racing. They also used them for the cavalry in battles and for messengers. They used them for racing because they were fast moving animals; the same reasoning applied to the military. Remember that the Romans did not use horses for pack animals or for harness work. Ox carts moved heavy equipment and goods, and mules were used as pack animals.
if the horse does it long enough sooner or later your going to have to stop racing the horse if not riding it. when they go full out and turn so sharp like that its like people athletes have to stop running after awhile because of joint pain horses are the same way. its hard on their legs so at about the age of 15 to 17 you should stop racing them
The world was never flat. It has always been round. Australia has always been in the same place, i.e. the southern hemisphere.
Same as a B-flat cornet. Brass instruments, when transposing, are always referred to in a flat key rather than sharp.
