no titanic did not sail to France it came from Southampton and it was sailing to New York and at midnight they hit an ice berg and the ship went down at 2:30 am 100,999 people died for there was 200,001 people on the ship 2 survived and the ship sank 20 miles before they got to New York that's really sad :(
