Not in the regular season or World Series but they were on their respective League's All Star teams, Mantle on the American League team and Musial on the National League team, for 14 games between 1952-1962 (they played against each other twice in All Star games in 1959, 1960, and 1961). There were two other All Star games where both were selected to their respective League's teams but Mantle was unable to participate due to injury. Those were the second All Star game in 1962 and the game in 1963.

Of those 14 games, the National League won 9, the American League won 4, and 1 game ended in a tie.
