No. Scott Mitchell led the Lions to the playoffs in 1995 and 1997 but was eliminated in the first round both years. In the first round of the 1995 playoffs the Lions lost to Philadelphia 58-37 and in the first round of the 1997 playoffs the Lions lost to Tampa Bay 20-10.
