Jordan earned a basketball scholarship to the University of North Carolina, where he majored in cultural geography. However, in 1984, Jordan left North Carolina one year before scheduled graduation to enter the 1984 NBA Draft. The Chicago Bulls selected Jordan with the third overall pick, after Hakeem Olajuwon (Houston Rockets) and Sam Bowie (Portland Trail Blazers). Jordan returned to North Carolina to complete his degree in 1986.
You can get into the NBA by playing college basketball and go to training camps in America. You can get scholarships to go play basketball in America if you are very good. You have to get scouted and enter the NBA draft.
You mean, College? Well he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and won a National Championship in his freshman year against the Georgetown Hoyas. Which was where his rivalry with Patrick Ewing started as Ewing was an outstanding college player. Jordan hit a shot with around 15-18 seconds from the left elbow to take the lead, and what would be the game winning shot. Which is what some people call "the beginning of a legend." He won player of the year in college as well in I believe his Junior season and was a 2 time All-American. He left a year early, to enter the NBA draft where his legend expanded to argueably the best player in basketball history. So yeah, he had a pretty good college career as well.
Both the Arabian Desert and the Syrian Desert enter Jordan.
