No, they are not related.There are two different Frank Robinsons.Jackie had an older brother named Frank. (Jackie was born in 1919, so his older brother Frank was born before that). This Frank, Jackie's brother, was killed in an accident when Jackie was in junior college. He too was a young adult. This was circa 1938/39/40. This is not the Frank you are probably thinking of...The Frank Robinson of baseball who played for the Indians and other teams and later went on to be the first African-American Manager of MLB is not related to Jackie Robinson. This Frank was born in 1935. (I believe he is still alive today.) He played till 1976, last managing job was with the Expos/Nationals till 2006 and coached after that on various teams as well (last coaching stint 85-87 with Orioles) so clearly he outlived young adulthood.Again, two different Franks.Hope that clarifies.
