Not to my knowledge, he did drive a pink Ford. The k2, which was his first race car.
He drove the pink car for part of 1980 and the other part of 1980 he drove the Oldsmobile owned by Rod Osterlund and it was sponsored by Mike Curb productions.
His first dirt-track car was a 1956 hot-pink Ford Sedan, which he got from his neighbors, David and Ray Oliver. His father had built the engine, and some other friends, Frank and Wayne Dayvault and their cousin Gregg, tuned it. They intended to paint the car avocado green, but a paint mishap resulted in the car being pink. They could not afford to repaint it, and he raced the pink car on dirt tracks around Charlotte, North Carolina.
Dale Earnhardt did drive a Pontiac in 1981 sponsored by Wrangler, but it was not pink
In 1980, Dale Sr. drove 28 races with a Chevrolet and 3 races with an Oldsmobile. He only drove a Pontiac during the 1981 season. The pink car was his first dirt track car and it was a Ford.
I believe the car was a 1956 Ford...the number was K2. The story is they mixed up paint to match the purple metallic roof....after they discovered it was pink, they couldn't afford to repaint it....so they just lettered it.
Dale Sr's first dirt track car, a 1956 hot pink Ford Sedan was pink by mistake. Dale's father Ralph built the engine, his cousin Gregg and a couple of friends tuned it up and painted it. The car was supposed to be avocado green, but they were unlucky with the paint job and it turned pink in color. They could not afford to repaint the car. So that is the way Dale drove it.
most likely a cream and/or orange nova # 8... The pink car was a 56 Ford he drove late 60's-early 70's @ Metrolina and/or Concord.
At one point he did drive a pink sponsored car, but Kotex was not the sponsor of the race car.
Blue and Yellow car- (1979-1987)
Black car - (1988-2001)
Dale Sr's first dirt track car was a pink 1956 Ford Victoria.
Dale Sr. drove a Pontiac for the entire 1981 Winston Cup season.

Should be on the action, Sportsman could be the 48 or 58 semi auto. Sportsman models have little parts left so try not to break any.
In 85% condition it is worth between $200-$250 dollars. In 95% they go for about $350.
55-65 depends on model
