it all depends on the situation. if you are at a field and you signed a waiver forum then probably not but that form isn't worth much in court. But if you make the sport look bad and shoot at people, animals, and things around the neighborhood then you will go to jail for discharging a firearm (yes, in certain areas if you use a paintball marker or a Airsoft gun at non-designated areas you will be charged as if you were shooting a real firearm)

no, but you probably want to only shoot it in your back yard or an area that is closed off from other people, unless you are paint balling with them. make sure you have permission to use the area though if its not yours or your guns could be confiscated.

Perhaps. Each community has its own laws about what is allowed. It can be considered illegal in some places. In my area, a BB gun (.177) is not allowed to be discharged in the township limits in such a way as it will leave your own property. Anything bigger is not allowed.
