Premiership rules forbid more than one transfer per season, but a young player may go out on loan to a variety of clubs throughout the course of a season, so in theory he could end up representing half a dozen over the course.

Yes, one can play for the two clubs. But if the player is of the national status, he would have to take permission from his national board.
