Income does affect eligibility for need-based scholarships. Other scholarships are "merit-based" which means that you earn the scholarship on your talents (high GPA, special abilities, leadership, etc.). Merit-based scholarships do not consider your income.
The easiest way to see what types of grantsa and scholarships are available to you is to consult your financial aid advisor. There is federal aid which is need based and other grants and scholarships which are achievement based. Having good grades will really help!
They do not offer scholarships ourselves, however, Meredith Manor does accept scholarships from any organization for a student in our program. There are many organizations who offer scholarships, many of which can be found by asking your Guidance Counselor, going to your local library, or contacting local equine organizations.
