nope. The turning of you on the skateboard depends on the bushings, the two soft round things on your trucks. Some people think that loosening the middle helps you turn but then it just makes your tricks really hard to do. Get good trucks so that the bushings are soft and the trucks itself is tight. Get Destructo d2! the best in the industry.
