Can a prep opt gymnast become an elite gymnast?

If your a prep opt now and your yong than maby you might have a chance if you really want it but It costs alot to be elite and if your a prep opt it will take you a long time. It really depends on how hard you work, what kind of scores you get and if your willing to pay. It is possible but you have to get out of prep opt and into optionals!
