OT counts but I haven't really seen shootout goals count towards a hatty. If you think about it, a SO goal doesn't directly count as a goal on the scoreboard, but only counts towards the final if your team scores the most goals in the shootout. penalty shots, however, do count because the goal directly counts on the scoreboard.
No it doesn't because it's goals in shootouts they only count goals of the game.
Yes, but not if the games goes into a Shoot-out. Shoot-out goals do not count towards a hattrick.
Yes.Players don't get points for goals scored in a shootout, so it also doesn't count for the goalie.
The player with the most goals in hockey is Wayne Gretzky. Gretzky holds a record of 894 career goals and 122 playoffs career goals for a total of 1016 goals.
Wayne Gretzky
Goals scored on the power play do not count as a +1 (although goals given up on the power play, shorthanded, count as a -1). So, theoretically, if three of the five points were scored on the power play and he was on the ice when all three goals were scored against he would be a -1. (+2 - 3 = -1)
The hattrick can be recorded in two sports. Hockey and Soccer. In hockey, it is when you score three goals, and in soccer it is when you score three goals.
Wayne Gretzky is the undisputed king of the ice.
