Are you meaning how many jumps to you perform when you are competing because it can vary. when i was at school we only did three but when i start going to competitions i normally done three and some people would then get a further three if they done well enough to proceed to the next stage. i also represented my country for triple jump where i did four jumps and the top group did another three. this may differ for age groups but this is what i did when in the under 17's category.
