at age 6 .
A great boxer who owns the Golden Boy Promotions.
"Daisy de la Hoya" is NOT related to Oscar de la Hoya. They are about the same age...Daisy de la Hoya is 36 years old. Although it is difficult to decipher "Daisy's" nationality due to her odd plastic surgery, we are all pretty sure she isn't latina.
yes 14 is a good age to start boxing
Boxing or fighting has been around for thousands of years. The ancient Greeks had boxing as part of the games they played and so did ancient Celts used boxing and wrestling as competition between men of various tribes. In some parts of the world it is still used today to settle disputes.
At age 12
8-10 years
It is unknown who the oldest person is to start boxing. Many boxers have started boxing after the age of 30, which is considered 'old' to start boxing.
At 15 he sold drawings he had made in school.
Start as early as possible, but remember that you do not want to get boxer's dementia from too many hits in the head
Oscar is one of the greatest fighters of all time. I know he will be back in the ring in no time. Has I write this he is probable sitting at home wanting to return to the ring. Oscar is still a dangerous fighter and will be a champion again. At his age he can still do a lot but will have to move up in weight to feel stronger. We can only wait and see, but don't be surprise when he wins a championship again. He is not finish!!!!
It depends whether you have the training, the biuld and the size. If you've been practicing for ages, since you were young, then maybe, but if not, your chances are low. However, try anyway. You never know, do you?
I'd say, start whenever you want to; it all depends on how quickly you pick things up; and how determined you are. Down where I train there's a 6 year old doing boxing; and there's 30 year olds starting up, But if you're interested in going pro; I'd definitely say as soon as possible! It varies per the individual. Sometimes a boxer can "burn-out" (Sean O'Grady comes to mind). Pick your age to begin.
