The spinner nxt comes with platform pedals. Probably, and hopefully they're 9/16 threads. You'd need to replace those with clipless pedals, either for road or mtb cleats before you get the full use of a pair of cycling shoes. For that you'll need either an Allen key or a narrow fixed wrench. An adjustable wrench doesn't always fit. Remember that the left pedal has a reverse thread.

I've never bothered much about brand of shoes as such. Fit and function is more important than label.

If they fit, they look like they'd do the job well enough. A bit warmer than a dedicated spinning shoe.
