Angry about it ? No. A little sad that such a legacy now has to wait to be fully told, and concerned that he may end up 'marring' this great legacy, and worse may regret this choice. But both I think are unlikely. First, no-one else has ever started every game for 16 years. That's is secure no matter what. And secondly, he's following his heart. He wants to play, even if not with the Packers ( wow.. ), and following his heart is what Brett has always done.
So, with a little bit of wist and even more anticipation and excitement, I say "Go Brett, play. Play like a kid." ... that is after all what makes the mans legacy so unique. He always 'played' football, like a 12 year old in the back yard ignoring mom as she yelled out the window that its getting dark and time to quit. ' One more mom! '
Maybe his legacy is not complete until he takes that 'playful heart' another step or two into NFL history.
Either way, it's his choice, not ours.

because they are, duh
Brett Dalton is a tough guy, hardened, angry, uncaring and always ready to use his fists. But when Brett is busted by the cops for stealing and sent to the farm for rehab, there are no fences to keep him in and anger gets in his way. Brett's trapped in a grave world, a world where he's not hardened at all.
he gets angry because he dunno what to do.
They get angry because that is their territory and you are invading it.
