All of the njfl jr football programs have cheer squads. I would go to their website and see what's closest to you. Maybe shoreline or lake city

You can't cheerleading isn't a valid point for obtaining a scholarship(not scholorship) so if you want to be funded for your education, then you should study science, math and other subjects or sports. Cheerleading may be useful for interactions and experiences but other then that, it is an useless effort trying to get a scholarship for cheerleading.
Cheerleading is not needed, neither is football or any other sport. People do sports for pleasure and entertainment.

Every cheerleader has a cheerleading squad. Cheerleading is near incomplete if you don't have a squad because just like any other sport you need your team (a squad is a team). Without a squad you are unable to do any stunting. Stunting is important in cheerleading as well.

There's plenty of "points" in cheerleading. In middle school/highschool cheerleading, the cheerleaders pump up the crowd and encourage the sports players. In all-star (competitive) cheerleading, there's competitions to win like in any other sport. Also, regardless of the specific type, cheerleading provides a way to have fun, exercise, and can even lead to college scholarships.
