it depends. i have been in line skating since i was 7. it is still very hard for me to ice skate. but my friend crysta, who ice skate thinks it is easy to in line skate.
it depends on how sharp your ice skates are but no
There are a few different brands of ice skates, but there are no toddler ice skates. Ice skates should not be put on a toddler and a toddler cannot ice skate.
Ice skates are different because they have blades on them and they are designed differently than per Se roller skates. Roller skates have more padding and have wheels on them, while figure skates have blades on them. If one wanted to compare a figure skate to a hockey skate, for example, a hockey skate does not have toe-picks while a figure skate does. Hope this helps :)
I've done both ice skating ad roller skating. I enjoyed ice skating but I wanted expand myself I bought a good fitting pair of roller skates! I found body position was every important. In my opinion the Biggest difference between ice and roller skating are "edges"! Ice skates have one blade on each boot--the ice blade is very narrow--but is still has an inside and a outside edge Roller skates have four wheels and each wheel has an inside and outside edge BUT the edges are 3/4" apart from each other!! When I was ice skating we didn't have inside ice rinks! I had a problem with edges in completion---but I finally found how to REALLY master theoss edges!!!

Put Corinne's ice skate in that closet.
Yes, black ice skates are for boys. In figure skating, my theory is that black is supposed to distinguish a male figure skater from a female figure skater, who wear white ice skates. Most likely, if you are renting ice skates at a public rink, the skates will be brown or blue/black if they are hockey skates. White and black ice skates are for professional usage, and thus, should not be sold to a person with no skating experience at all.

No, ice bumps do not ruin your hockey skates. Thanks, Sid
You don't. If you don't want to buy ice skates, then don't.
