Cheer is harder. We are lifting 80-100 pounds in the air, doing death defying stunts, oh and guess what, we do everything dancers do. We have a huge dance in our routines, flyers spin themselves in the air, and do whole heel stretches and bow n arrows IN THE AIR! Also learning all sorts of tumbling skills, like fulls, tucks, and back handsprings. Cheer practices can last all day and you barely get a break. Yes I was a competitive dancer in my earlier years of life. Now Im a cheer leader and I am proud to be one for 5 years now. Cheer is so less toxic and nobody in the right mind would shame someone else on the team. We are a family. This is my opinion, please don’t come for me.
