Yes, because if it was in the shallow end you would end up hitting the bottom of the pool pretty hard.
The Deep End or diving zone
The fulcrum on diving boards is typically placed closer to the end where the diver stands. This allows for greater flexibility and springboard effect when the diver jumps off the board. Placing the fulcrum closer to the end also helps with controlling the amount of bounce and height achieved during the dive.
Usually they mean a 50m or 25m pool which is rectangular and has a shallow and deep end with diving availability:)
Yes it probably can be done at a major expense and reconstruction. k

Someone who never goes to the deep end, cannot perform any type of stroke, and someone who never goes on the diving board.
You need to know how deep the water is and if the depth is constant or is it deeper near the diving board compared to the kiddie end
If you cut all six boards at 60 degree angles, you can create a hexagon, which is analogous to a circular form.
I think this question needs to be expanded to get an answer. I think the question is on the question of slides in pools. a pool should be 5 feet deep for a slide and it is not recommended to install a slide on an above ground pool. the waves from landing in the water push very hard on the oposite side of the pool and in time will weaken the walls. Answer:: Slides like diving boards are a liability.
6-10 grand to raise the deep end and resurface the pool. More if you want other stuff done.
