the indicator relay is located directly under the steering coluom which has a red plug connected to it and slide the complete relay toward the seat and it will slide out, then you have to pry the raised section so you can unplug the relay. hope this help you

no liftgate release on these suburbans, the relay is on the passenger side pillar at the bottom, near the floor. and yes you will have to pull the plastic off. it is a standard 5125 relay to replace. about 5-10 bucks.

If you open the hood, as you are looking at the engine, the relay box will be on your right ( in front of the master cylinder and toward the fender) The cover has tabs that you push to release and you will see the different relays. If you look on the inside cover, they should be labeled for you .

Held in a spring clip so it's easy to pull out.... The relay will have a White & black wire on it. That goes right to the trunk release mechanism If you connect 12 volts from that wire and earth it to a body ground it should pop it for you.
