Height and weight don't so solely determine the size snowboard you should ride, but it gives us a range of board to choose from. Every snowboard has a desired rider weight range. Ideally you want your weight to fall into the center of the weight range. For example, the snowboard I ride is a 157. The weight range on my board is from 140-180 pounds. I weigh 160lbs, which falls perfectly in the board's weight range. Weight is more important than height; height just helps compliment your weight. It is more important to have a snowboard designed for your weight, than having one in between your chin and nose. Refer to our weight charts below. In your case, I think a size 159 to 161 will work just fine.

Depends on what you are doing. I'd say 160ish. But then again, if you are riding park (Rails, Pipe, etc) you'd want a smaller board for more control. The bigger it is, the hardest it is to fall down and the harder it is to turn.

It depends on your height and what you plan to do with it. When you stand up to your board the tip should be anywhere from under your chin to under or a little above your nose. For park and jumps go with the shorter board, but for backcountry and just riding get a taller one.

Me (also 6' 00", 160lbs): 159 good for a mix of terrain.

What/how do you ride? Deep powder generally likes a longer board while terrain parks tend to favor a shorter board. Shorter for quick transitions, longer for less sinking into powder.

somewhere in the ballpark of 165 cm, go to your local ski shop and have them fit you for one. it should come up to your chin appx. im 5'11, but i ride a 153 cause i like a smaller board to throw around, all depends on what you like. if your not a park guy, just like to cruise, get a firmer board, if you like the park and doing tricks and stuff, get a soft board. All depends on what you like

How wide and thick is a snowboard?

A wide snowboard is a snowboard with a width of usually 26 cm or more. Wide snowboards are necessary for riders with a boot size of roughly 10.5 or higher. With a board that is too narrow, a larger boot size may cause the boot to hang over the edges of the board and create toe drag. Attached is a link for a video that talks about the purpose of wide snowboards.

Im 5'8 and 155 lbs what size snowboard do i need?

When choosing what size snowboard it is more important to select one based on your weight rather than height. It really depends on what type of riding you do/where you snowboard mainly. For park I would suggest anything from a 152-156.For all mountain from a 154-158.For powder 156-160.This is just personal preference for me since I am the same weight as you are. Also make sure to get one that is wide enough based on how big your foot is as you definitely do not want any toe drag.

What size snowboard does a 6 foot 3 inch 270 pound guy need?

YOU WOULD NEED A BOARD THAT IS 160 TO 163cm. IN LENGTH I say nothing less than a 156.. that's if you really wanna get tricky like SSX. 162 or so wouldn't be a bad bet for all around. Also at 270lbs, I would say look into wide decks, they usually fit better for a foot bigger than a 10. And not the most flexy board either, as its gonna flex more for you either way.

Would these snowboard sizes fit a 6ft 150lb?

The size of the snowboard will determine whether or not it will fit a 6ft 150lb.
