Ray Bellamy University of Miami was not the first Black man to play for a major southern College Sports (football) program.

My name is Bob Grant and I was actually the first in the year 1964, along with Ken Henry and William Smith at Wake Forest.

We went through that difficult and dangerous experience during the American Civil Rights struggle and I would really appreciate you correcting your error.

I was drafted by the Baltimore Colts in 1968 and played professionally with them and the Washington Redskins.

Thank You,

Bob Grant
