Chad Hennings, who played defensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys from 1992 to 2000, won the 1987 Outland Trophy as a member of the Air Force Academy Falcons football team. Hennings was drafted by the Cowboys in 1988, but he was unable to join the NFL team unti he had fulfilled a post-graduate commitment to the Air Force. Hennings later played on the Cowboys' three Super Bowl teams in 1992, 1993 and 1995.
