In terms of seed position, the 1995 Houston Rockets finished the regular season seeded sixth in the Western Conference (47-35 W-L record). They are the lowest seeded team to win an NBA championship.

Note: They were considered by many experts as the worst "regular season team" to win an NBA title, but they did manage to win back to back titles as the Chicago Bulls' Michael Jordan took a break from basketball to purse a minor league baseball career.
