It has never happened in the AFL (1990 - ) but some instances occured in VFL Seasons (1897 - 1989): North Melbourne in 1931 and 1934. Hawthorn in 1928. Fitzroy in 1964, but all of these seasons only consisted of 18 rounds. a few teams have gone close though. Fremantle have gone through only winning one, which was against the hawks
In 1913, University football Team, an early member of the then VFL, played and lost every match! 18 games I think! University still fields a Team but they are no-longer a part of elite football and left the then VFL in 1919! They are possibly the second or third oldest football club in Australia! (they were formed in the same year as Castlemaine. There is an argument that the "Melbourne F Club" IS the Oldest football club in the world!and st kilda 1897-1899
No

No never, the lowest wins a team has had was Fitzroy with 1 win
Since the 1967 NHL expansion, only one team - the 1975-76 Montreal Canadiens - has gone through an entire season without allowing a short-handed goal. As of this writing, the 2008-09 Philadelphia Flyers are 10 games away from tying that feat.
1934 Cincinatti Reds, they were 0-8
no team has ever gone undefeated
angels
Collingwood were undefeated in the home and away season of 1929. They lost the 2nd Semi-Final, but their end of season position as minor premiers enabled them to make it through to the Grand Final and win the Premiership.
The Cubs
No. . . they haven't
It was Arsenal who went one season without a loss.
Through the 2009 season, that is 104 by the 1905 team that was known as the Brooklyn Superbas. The most losses in a season the team has had since playing in Los Angeles is 99 by the 1992 team.
