The most consecutive wins in a single season and to go on to win the Super Bowl, the answer would be the Miami Dolphins in 1972, in which they won 17 games (regular and post-season). This was, and still is, the NFL's ONLY perfect season.

The 2007 Patriots won 18 games in a row in one season. Having a "perfect" regular season while bowing to the giants in the super bowl.

The 2003-2004 Patriots have the longest winning streak over the course of two seasons including playoffs. That is 21 games in a row.

The 2008-2009 Colts had a 23 win "Regular season streak" that was not a real streak as it was broken up by a playoffs loss.

So I guess the real answer is The Patriots have the longest actual steaks... 2007 or 2003-2004 depending on what you're asking about.

*Note* The Green Bay Packers have a 17 game winning streak and counting so far. They have to go 16-0 to beat the record (22 Games).

You missed one. The Buffalo Bills lost to the Miami Dolphins 20 straight times in the 1970s.

49ers have one of the longest winning streaks against the Rams, they won 17

straight games against them from their second meeting of the season in 1990 were finally defeated in October of 1999.

If the Patriots can beat the bills both times next season they will have tied the 49ers record.

49ers 17-0 vs Rams (1990-1999)

Patriots 15-0 vs bills (2003-present)

chargers 11-0 vs raiders

steelers 10-0 vs browns

20 consecutive victories. The Miami Dolphins beat the Buffalo Bills twice a year for ten years from 1970 to 1979.

Type your answer here... 49ers beat the LA/St. Louis Rams 17 consecutive times. Game 2 of 1990, and every game betwee 1991-1998.

Another record: 49ers also won 12 consecutive road games against the Rams, 1987-1998.

Most consecutive times one team has beaten another team at home is the Redskins over the Lions, 21 straight times(since moving to Washington); 1937-2009.
