20-25% are white, whether it be American or from another country. The previous answer in on the low side. I believe the percentage is between 33% to 40% -- I have not done a complete count of all NBA Rosters, but I am quite sure it is at least 33% (1 in 3 players). The percentage has increased a lot in the last few years because of the Europe, Russian, Argentinian and Australian players now in the NBA.
