alumiun bats are better because they are hollow and because they have a bigger sweet spot than wood
another reason is that they bend then use the momentum to "smack" that bal out of there
the power in and alumiun bat is about 15% more then that of a wooden bat... but i personal like the swing of a wooden bat the weight seems to be more towards the end of the bat and swings it self
also, the aluminum bats gets weaker each time it hits the ball and the wood gets stronger.
GET DA ALUMINUM IT BETTER
An aluminum bat may or may not hit a Baseball further, depending on who
swings the bat.
Both bats have advantages. First, let us compare the qualities of the two
designs. The only real difference is weight. The aluminum bat is much
lighter than the wooden bat.
Because the aluminum bat is lighter, the batter has more control. It is
easier to make "last-minute adjustments" to his swing. Once a wooden bat is
swinging, adjustments are difficult. Also, less time is needed to get the
aluminum bat moving. The batter can wait just a little bit longer before
deciding how to swing with an aluminum bat.
Because the wooden bat is heavier, it has less "recoil": A wooden bat
moving at the same speed as an aluminum bat will hit harder. A batter who
can get a wooden bat moving fast will hit the ball further, provided he
makes contact at all. Also, a wooden bat doesn't vibrate as much. This is
better for the batter's hands.
Overall, the wooden bat has more potential power, but the aluminum bat is
easier to use. A very experienced player that can tell how the ball is
pitched just as it leaves the pitcher's hand will do better with a wooden
bat. The player that likes a little extra time to decide how to hit, as
well as a little opportunity for slight adjustment, will do better with an
aluminum bat. In the end, it is a matter of personal preference.
You can hit a baseball better with an aluminum bat because it has more pop than a wood bat has. Also aluminum bats are lighter than wood bats. This is why coaches recommend aluminum bats over wood bats.

Amateurs can hit it farther, yes.
Aluminum bats are stronger, more durable and ball reacts faster off the bat than that of wood. Simply put, metal is stronger natural material than wood. Wood bats, however, are the only bats used in professional baseball and also in most college summer leagues. Wood bats are more of a financial burden on leagues and teams because they don't last as long. See great link below on how wood bats are made.

aluminum
aluminum bats are only used from College Baseball, to little league, they only use wood bats in the majors and all minor leagues
Both are used.
The aluminum bat would go farther than the wooden bat. It will go farther because the aluminum bat is much lighter than the wooden bat.
no because a aluminum bat is less heavier than a wooden
metal also known as aluminum
Wooden BatSupposedly, the wooden bat due to the weight of the ash wood used to make bat as opposed to the aluminum. However, it's not really the bat, it's the speed of the thrown ball and the speed with which the bat makes contact. Ask a baseball coach or a physics professor for more info.Usually a wooden bat, but aluminum bats hit faster, which is why I was almost decapitated before my time a few weeks ago.they think the aluminum would hit farther because a wooden bat would not hold up as goodthat's right an aluminum bat hits so far that the major leagues don't even use them trust meAluminum bat hits faster but i also think a aluminum bat would hit farther too because the aluminum bat is lighter and the faster you swing the farther it goes.
Aluminum. Corking a bat reduces the collision. A ball travels further with an uncorked wooden than a corked wooden.
baseballs come off an aluminum bat faster and harder, than they do on a wooden bat. that is why in the MLB they make the players use wooden bats, to prevent serious injury. i myself perfer to use and practice with a wooden bat in the off season, because it teaches you to use the right mechanics to hit the ball harder and farther. but during games i use an aluminum ball bat, and during practice i use a wooden bat. i would restrain from using a carbon-fiber bat because they have a tendency to crack and break. but that is just my opinion on carbon fiber bats.
