What is the best way to store downhill skis?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

When you store downhill skis over a long period you should put a storage wax on. This is a special wax designed to keep the bases from drying out and cracking. A good place to store your skis would be a place that is cool and has a medium humidity. Too dry will dry out your skis. Dark is also good as bright sunlight can damage the graphics and will make the temperature rise and fall which will also damage your skis.

How long would it take to cross country ski 17.7 kilometers?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

To professional male runners in the world - it takes something like 69-72 minutes (1:09-1:12 hours); and to professional female runners it takes like 77-83 mintes (1:17-1:23 hours).

If you are arunner that run only for fun, every result under 2 hours is good.

If you are a -little-bit competitive runner, a result of under 1:30 hours (for male) of under 1:50 hours (for female) is good.

and if you are an olympic runner - ask your coach about it, why do you ask me!?
