How many National League baseball games are played in a regular season?

Well, actually, you have two different types of games in your question.

Post means after the season, so here are your answers:

Each team plays 162 regular season games. If the team makes it to the playoffs, they can play anywhere from 3 to 19 games.

The first series is the Division Series, the best out of 5 games wins the division. This means that a team can win the first 3 games, or play up to the full 5 games.

The second series is the Championship Series. The best out of 7 games wins the championship. This means that a team can win the first 4 games, or play up to the full 7 games.

The final series is the World Series. This series is also a best out of 7 series and the same rules apply as the Championship Series.

The team could possibly lose the first 3 games of the Division Series, therefor only playing 3 games in the post season.

I was at both games. The Oct. 14 game was unreal!!! It was so loud. It would be great if the Riders could get that size crowd every game!

The Rough Riders was a nickname given to the 1st United States Volunteer Cavalry, one of three such regiments raised in 1898 for the Spanish–American War and the only one of the three to see action. Initially commanded by Col. Leonard Wood, it was later commanded by Theodore Roosevelt, who was later President of the US. The members were people with experience in horsemanship in rough terrain- thus "Rough Riders".
