Tiger Woods has won 4 PGA Championships (1999, 2000, 2006, 2007).
Most PGA tournaments, including all the majors, are 72 holes (4 rounds). The record low score for a major is 19 under, set by Tiger Woods in the 2000 British Open; for a non-major is 31 under, set by Tony Els in the Mercedes. A lower 72-hole score was set in the first four rounds of the five round 2009 Bob Hope, in which Steve Stricker scored 33 under. Stricker shot over par in the fifth round and finished third.
The lowest score in a 5 round tournament is 36 under by Joe Durant in the 2001 Bob Hope. Pat Perez won the 2009 Bob Hope, defeating Stricker above, with 33 under.
Players missing the cut and turning in a 36-hole score will be paid $2,500 each. Any player making the cut, but failing to submit a 72-hole score, will also be paid $2,500.
The prize money for last place won't be confirmed until the 4th round has been concluded because it depends on whether the last players are tied for example.
The full prize money breakdown for players that made the cut will be published here when the tournament is concludedhttp://www.golfandcourse.com/news/pga-championship-prize-money

Ken Green was an exceptional golfer from Danbury and has won 4 tournaments in the 80's and early 90's and was a top ten player for three years.
Well, it was quite shocking, but an impressive performance by Yang. He was clearly comfortable in the spotlight which never happens to someone who is in a shootout with Tiger Woods in the final round. He knew Tiger wasn't playing well enough to take the title so Yang stepped in and took it.

The players were told, any area with sand in it was a bunker. Johnson admitted he never read the rules sheet and it cost him. The officials should have been more concerned with keeping spectators out of the bunkers.
