How can you tell if you are ready for labor and dilivery?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

It is painful and your waters burst. Also, you might see your mucus plug come out You will experience intermitent cramping similar to period cramps they will come & go & eventually get worse & closer together, or you may have back labor which would be a dull ache in your lower back that continues to get more intense. You may lose your mucous plug, you might have a "bloody show", your water may break, but not always! You may experience a fullness or achey sensation in your pelvic floor or rectal pressure, like you have to have a bowel movement, but it just doesn't seem to go away. Just remember to stay calm, relax & keep moving around it will help your labor go faster....you can also check out my post on techniques to make giving birth easier.....best of luck to you! ;)

Is it normal for a dog to bleed three weeks after giving birth to a litter of seven puppies?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

it might just be her period!! dont panic x

Answer:It depends; you don't say whether the puppies survived.

If the pups died and the mother "dried up," she could possibly go into heat again.

If they survived and she's still nursing them, no, it isn't normal. Female dogs don't go into heat while they're lactating, so it can't be her "period" under those circumstances. You should contact a vet.

How many babies can a spider give birth to?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Depending on species, at least 100 and usually many more, as many as 3000 or more in a single season. The larger spiders have comparatively fewer eggs, and fewer survive to adulthood.

A female wolf spider will carry around her egg sac with 100 to 300 eggs, and the young will clamber over her to ride along when they hatch. But within a few days they are off on their own.
